Modeled after the player exclusive the Kobe Bryant wore during the 2002-03 season, a time where he was a sneaker free agent. During that stretch he flirted with Jordan Brand, Nike and even Reebok, before taking his talents to Nike and the rest is history.
Jordan Brand also designed two special edition sets that included models 1-30 comprised of White versions and the other in Black. Both the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 8 from the sets were highlighted in Los Angeles Lakers colors.
